In our recently published case example we looked at a number of different features, but if you are new to Secure Nest you may be wondering to yourself, “How do I get started?”.
The first thing you need to do as a therapist is to register an account. Once registered provide your account username to your client and they can enter it when they register. Congratulations, your accounts are now linked 🙂
A therapist can then add a client’s mode model into the ‘My Modes’ screen. After you login to Secure Nest, this can be found by navigating to Workshop > My Modes. To enter a mode:
Select your client from the drop down list:
Enter the name of the mode:
There are no other compulsory fields, however at a minimum we would encourage therapists to fill in the ‘Behaviour’ field as this is automatically populated into the ‘Identify My Modes’ page for a client:
Once you have added all the information for a particular mode click ‘Save’ and it will be instantly available for the client. ‘My Modes’ can be updated throughout the therapy process to include your work in therapy.
Any mode added will be available for a client to view on the ‘Identify My Modes’ page and select when filling in the ‘Mode Diary’. This video takes you on a tour of how the client uses the ‘Identify My Modes’ page once the modes have been entered:
